• What should I study in Canada?

• What are the requirements to study in Canada?

  For international students, the requirements for admission in a Canadian school vary by province, university and course. After working with you to select the universities and course(s) you would like to pursue, we will carefully go over all the requirements with you and ensure nothing is missed.

  Generally, most universities and educational institutes in Canada require:

  • Proof of completion of secondary school education.
  • English and/or French proficiency test such as IELTS/TOEFL or TEF/TCF
  • Proof of finances to cover tuition fees, tuition fees, living expenses, and other expenses during your stay in Canada.

• How much does it cost to study in Canada?

  Just like requirements for admission, the cost to study in Canada varies by varies by province, university and course.

  That said, the below table provides an estimate of typical tuition fees for universities in Canada.

  If a Canadian education seems out of reach because of the costs, there’s still hope. There are many scholarships available to reduce tuition costs. When you become a client of XYZ immigration, we can work with you to identify scholarships which you could qualify for and help you obtain them.

  In addition, you can work and earn money to help your finances while you are studying!

  International students in Canada universities can work on-campus or off-campus for up to 20 hours during university semesters and full-time during breaks such as the winter or summer holidays, without the need for a work permit.

  All Canadian provinces have a minimum wage rate (typically around $16 per hour) which you are guaranteed if you work in Canada.

  If you have a spouse and he/she accompanies you to Canada, he/she can also work while you study. Generally, spouses are given the same rights as students who are studying in Canada.

• Can I work in Canada after completing my studies?

  Yes! Canada offers post-study work permit options for international students stay and work in Canada. Canada has a highly developed economy and studying in a Canadian educational institutional provides high employability with good salaries.

  The Postgraduate Work Permit Program by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allows students to work in Canada for up to 3 years after graduating.

  • International students can work full time directly for any Canadian employer in any industry without any restrictions.
  • If the course duration 2 years or more, you will a 3-year post-study work permit to work in Canada.

• Can I live in Canada permanently after completing my studies?

  Yes. Canada provides one of the easiest paths to obtaining Permanent Residency after completing your studies. There are certain criteria to be met and provided you meet that, you may apply to become a Permanent Resident in Canada. Once you have successfully obtained Permanent Residency, you can live and work in Canada permanently!
